I am getting an error ‘You can’t get there from here'

Resolve the "You can't get there from here" error when adding sites to the SharePoint Essentials Toolkit. Caused by Conditional Access policies.

When you try to add a site using Web Browser Authentication, you get an error 'You can't get there from here'.

Issue

When using Web Browser Authentication, and you try to add a connection or site, you get an error ‘You can’t get there from here'.

Option 2: Configure Azure App Registration

If above fails, you may need to configure Azure App Registration. Your organization may have conditional access policies enabled that are blocking embedded web browsers for authentication.

Without Azure App Registration, the product uses an embedded web browser (Microsoft WebView2) to perform Web Browser Authentication. This will prevent WebView2 from being used and will be replaced using the Windows Edge or default browser, which will pass Conditional Access Policies.
